Thrifty Threads Featuring Mom (Jo Kramer)
From time to time I do a “Thrifty Threads” post where I feature a complete outfit made from secondhand items. Although I have quite a rockin’ selection in my own closet, I’m featuring my mom today.
Mom (Jo Kramer) looked especially adorable on her way out this morning so I insisted on snapping a picture.
Without asking I knew the outfit was thrifty-threads appropriate. Nearly all of her clothes are second hand. I was going to type that 100% of her clothes are used, but she insisted that was not true. She does buy new running shoes, after all. And there is that jean jacket that Dad bought. And that one blazer. And some workout shorts.
So, I stand corrected.
Doesn’t she look great? The sandals have stripes the exact same color as the top and pants. It looks like she walked into a store and purchased it all as an outfit.
Mom is wearing:
- Coral scoopneck tee @$2 via thrift
- Linen capri pants @$.10 via thrift
- Striped slides @$.25 via thrift
- Red leather purse @$1.50 via thrift
- Stainless water bottle @ $.75 via thrift
For a WHOPPING total of $4.60: A new record!
What can I say, I learn from the best!
