Pressure Cooker 365 Recipe #47: Boneless Pork Ribs
On November 17, 2012 I married the love of my life and met a new love: My pressure cooker!
To spread the love I’m using my pressure cooker every day and sharing the recipes on my blog.
Along with the food in my cupboard (easy to transport) I have food in my freezer (not so easy to transport) that needs to get used up. I bought these boneless pork ribs a while ago because they were Fareway’s special that week but I had no idea how to prepare them.
This method from Taste of Home was a great way. They were very tender like a roast with only 15 minutes of cook time. The sauce had a pleasant tang without being to barbeque-y. An added bonus, as we have been eating baked beans for the last 3 meals.
I made cornbread to go with this. Nothing special, I just followed the instructions on the box, but I tried a new technique that made it great: I baked it in a cast-iron skillet that I greased with bacon grease. DELICIOUS! Although I probably shouldn’t share all of my secret techniques with you. Then, when I complain about gaining weight from my Pressure Cooker 365 you will all be thinking, “Well, duh….!”
