    Those pictures are NEAT! I’ve been wondering what the kitchen in our house might’ve looked like when it was built in 1920 — now I’ve got some ideas.

    Yes, those old photos are nice to look at. It takes you back in time and you can get lost in yesteryear.
    I admit that I love my modern kitchen and while I enjoy looking at the old photos, I prefer to cook with modern conveniences. Women in the old days wore long sleeved shirts and long skirts, and had to cook without benefit of Air Conditioning or electrical appliances. Can you imagine how hot the entire house got after these women used kindling to make a fire for the stove?

    But I did really enjoy the photos. Makes me feel nostalgic and grateful for my modern kitchen at the same time. Thanks for the archive!
