KAYLA FINISHES A SWEATER!
Okay, a baby sweater. But STILL!
This shouldn’t be a big deal. Especially for someone who’s been knitting for more than ten years, who likes challenges, cables, and color changes. But I have a very short attention span. I’ve knit a lot of socks and mittens without matches, scarves that turn into hot pads, sleeves, fronts, and backs, but never a full completed sweater. Until now. And for the close up…
The pattern came from the book Simply Baby by Debbie Bliss and was knit in Baby Cashmerino. The yarn is gorgeous! I can’t wait to order some more and try a pattern from my new book, Adorable Knits for Tots. I’m in love with the bobble cardigan.
P.S. Mom: I made two mistakes. And I ripped out and fixed all of them. I wove in all ends, and finished all seams. This is the real deal, I’m a big kid now!
