Inexpensive Clogs: Clog Outlet Review
My favorite kind of shoes come in a size 40- that is, they are European. I appreciate the high quality but continue to struggle with the price tag. When I want high-quality clothing I buy used. This strategy doesn’t work for clogs that wear-in to fit your feet perfectly.
I recently found the website “Clog Outlet.” It seemed too good to be true: Clogs priced at 60% off retail. Most of the shoes are factory seconds. I wondered how bad shoes have to be in order to be considered “seconds.”
When I found the Wegner Wood Platform I knew it was time to give Clog Outlet a try. I have lusted after these on Zappos for awhile. I was even prepared to pay $130 for them. However, when I finally decided to make the purchase they were out of my size. The same shoes were listed for $64.95 on Clog Outlet. After shipping I paid $75.
I am very impressed with the customer service at Clog Outlet. I paid for the shoes with my PayPal account which comes directly out of my checking. I placed the order on a Saturday evening and immediately received an order confirmation and payment notification. I received a UPS tracking number on Tuesday and the clogs arrived Friday afternoon.
For the life of me I can’t figure out what went wrong with these to be considered a factory second. I noticed a tiny scuff on one toe, but one night at the fair put a scuff on both toes.
Overall I am VERY impressed with the service of Clog Outlet and the quality of their “factory second” footwear.
The only problem is instead of saving the money I am tempted by all of the other shoes! Clog boots, clog sandals, clog platforms, oh my!
Haha, I share your problem with loving shoes! You could look at it this way, if you do cave and get another pair, at least you are getting 2 pairs for the price of one!
I’m a clog lover too, size 41, LOL! I found these on clogoutlet and then found your review. I am in love, but worried they’ll feel clunky as heck. I have at least 7 pairs of clogs….but these are quite unique. since you;ve had them for a while, do you still love them the same? not to clumsy?
I found the same to be true with Kayla. On the website it says I should have been a size 40, however when I got them I needed the smaller size. Needless to say, it was a very easy process to order them online, because they used Paypal. However when I called to see how to return them I was given the option that they could email me return label or send on my own, and they would refund me the shipping charges $6.99. Never did I see these shipping charges refunded, when I called customer service they were very rude, and not helpful, nor were they willing to give me the $6.99, even after I spend $110 on CLOGS. The Supervisor from customer service, Raul, would not let me speak to his boss or anyone higher up in the chain of command. Buyer Beware…. go somewhere else, there are many shoe outlets, and companies that provide a full refund with shipping, if you don’t like the shoe or with an exchange… I should have read the reviews prior….because they are mostly negative. Do not buy from here!
