Holey Socks! (Make Great Rags)
If you’re not up to darning socks, holey socks make great rags. They wear out in the heel and toe long before they do along the top of the foot. Put this still-cushy part to good use by cutting off the toe, heel, and bottom: the part of the sock that’s the most worn through. The fabric that’s left will make very absorbent cloths for cleaning bathroom surfaces.
