Fussy Cut Fair Projects
Fair week starts tomorrow! True to character I am completing my projects last minute. Here ^ I am adding binding to my fussy-cut flower quilt.
It was a great opportunity to try out my new (to me) White 670. I was so impressed! The presser foot is a perfect 1/4″. It is my heaviest machine, but also the quietest. This green machine has knocked my Pink Cadillac out of the top spot for favorite.
I tried a new fussy-cut project today:
It is a minimalist baby doll. I have seen dolls similar to this one with sleepy embroidered faces. Although it looks very simple each piece is cut to include a flower from the vintage sheet. I think dolls with faces are creepy, so these flowers are a fun way to add dimension and personality.
I will share pictures of my fair projects later this week… hopefully with ribbons attached. Wish me luck!
