Free Crochet Pattern | Box Bottom Tote

    Plarn is something I am using in a tapestry I am weaving! I also knit/crochet with it…it’s an old stanby for potted plant mats, the bottom of mug mats-which are usually felted on top- but can be knitted or crocheted without felting as the plastic an the bottom helps protect the table top. I like to use a backwards single crochet st to join the plastic to the fabric, but hand-sewing would wrok as well.
    Ir’s so nice to find so many young people working on being frugal and environmentally helpful. We were like that back in the “old” days of my youth as well…60’s and 70’s…but I was NOT a part of the drug culture that also took root back then! Just to clarify :)
