Bruce the Yellow Lab Puppy: Nine Weeks
Bruce is 9 weeks old! At his appointment today the vet confirmed our suspicions: He is going to be a big guy (30 lbs already), he is very feisty, and that we will have to work very hard to train him. As Dr. Sprank said, labs can either be couch potatoes or a “straight up Marley and Me.” We’ve got a Marley.
Dr. Sprank knows our family of labs (Spencer’s parents also have two labs) and said we should not expect Bruce to train as easily. He will benefit from obedience classes. On the other hand, he will love to be busy performing tricks and will make a great running buddy.

Cute! We have a 14 week old coonhound mix. Apparently, they love puzzles and challenges. Her first obedience class is next week.
