    I’ve been saving my kids’ t-shirts to make quilts and I’d love to hear how yours works out. The idea of trying to interface stretch knits makes me nervous.

    I would completely re-do the bodice on the polka-dotted dress by taking out the sleeves and making it sleeveless as well as v-necked. You could use the old sleeves to make armhole facings, and re-cut the shoulders to lose the extra fabric that accommodated the shoulder pads.
