Avoidance tactics in action.
I would love to write a post about the T-shirt quilt that I am making, but the profanity that would ensue would be highly inappropriate.
Writing a post at all is clearly an avoidance tactic from the hell that is stretch fabric and interfacing.
I need experiences like these to remind myself that maintaining an Etsy shop is a seriously bad idea. It’s not like I can say,
“Sorry, paying customer, but this T-shirt quilt thing isn’t working out. I hope you like this crocheted rag rug.”
But alas, it is getting late in the day and I must have this quilt top completed for my visit to my parent’s tomorrow. Mom is keeping a list of work for me to do while she quilts the top on her Pfaff Grand Quilter.
I said some mean things to Spencer that made him choose to take a nap. Hopefully by the time he wakes up I can be a bright and sun-shiney girlfriend with a completed quilt top and clean kitchen.
Better get to work.
