    Hi,
We’re really shocked to see the news about Sandy and the devastation the storm has caused.
Hope you and your family are safe.
As a diversion I thought you might find this site interesting: http://www.garnstudio.com
it’s got free knitting patterns, most are in scandinavian, but I believe some could be in english as well.
You also have the Icelandic Lopi site: http://www.istex.is
I personally think the aniversary sweater is way too “busy” and colorful by scandinavian standards. The zip cardigans at the bottom are pretty good, and lots of people will wear them. Then you have the Faroese sweaters in updated designs from Gudrun og Gudrun. It is very easy to make your own design inspired by them if you have a suitable basic pattern. Not that you have time for that right now, probably.
If I find patters for typical swedish and norwegian sweaters I’ll post them at a later time.
