Knitted dishcloths are a favorite project of mine because I can sample a new stitch pattern without committing to it on a large scale. They are a great project for mindless movie-knitting or on-the-go public transportation knitting. And, if you are purchasing yarn, crochet cotton is very cheap.
Dishcloths are great for gift-giving too. Just add:
- A Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Cleaning Gift set for a housewarming gift
- A Burt’s Bee’s Baby Kit for a new-baby gift
- Handmade organic soap for a pamper-yourself gift- Wrap the soap with the dishcloth and tie with raffia.
- A couple more coordinating dishcloths for a hostess gift
