Thrifty Threads Thursday: Sweater Accessories

I am so excited for my new black v-neck sweater from Old Navy.  It is very comfy and will be versatile too.  I spent $20 for it, which is not bad, but more than I spent on everything else combined.  My cordoroy skirt was $3.00, the collared shirt was $3.50, and the tights were $5.00.  My friends agreed that although my outfit was cute, this picture was not.  Alissa suggested I pop a hip while Kendra suggested a “senior picture” pose.  While humoring them both Alissa snapped this picture:

Definitely NOT an improvement.  But it made us laugh a lot, so hopefully it does the same for you.

Hey….that skirt was free to you! Isn’t that the one I bought you this weekend?

Oh, yes, I should clarify that. The skirt was free to me, but it did cost you (my mom) $3. I went shopping with Mom and found four pairs of pants and this skirt at the greatest thrift shop in the world: The Depot. Love it! I needed some teacher clothes and all of the pants and this skirt fit like perfect. The skirt got caught on my cable knit tights which was annoying, but fixable. So yup, skirt was free. But still cheap for Mom.
