    That’s a great reason to purchased clothing used. Another top reason, for me anyway, is that the clothing has probably already been laundered. Meaning, if it’s going to shrink, stretch, fade, etc., it probably already has. You know exactly how it’s going to fit and look later from the moment you try it on.

    I found that I saved thousands of dollars when I stopped buying new clothes. I don’t go to thrift stores or consignment stores. I simply make do with what I have. Granted, I paid a lot for high end clothes (required in my profession), but because of the higher cost, I can wear these staples for 10 years or more. My closet is packed with lovely, expensive clothes, so why buy anything else? Too many people shop out of boredom and buy items that they rarely wear. If they put that money in savings or investments, it will amount to thousands of dollars in a few years.
